The Amalfi Coast
& CAPRI

It is very easy to arrive to Capri, but not so easy to leave the sun, the lemons, the gulf and the Faraglioni.

The island has always been a place loved by artists.
painters, filmmakers, photographers and writers who on a winter’s day look out of a window and are spellbound by the view in the morning light with its sublime lemons and the gulf beyond.

Other than the famous islands and the villages along the Amalfi coast which are perhaps too exhausted by mass tourism, the numerous coves hide also some small secluded and less crowded places that it keeps close to the heart: like the charming villages of Praiano and Nerano on the Sorrento peninsula where you arrive by a fishing boat to taste the inimitable dish of Spaghetti alla Nerano.

The whole coast is characterized by a varied culinary tradition full of unique delights, such as the colatura di alici, whose roots date back to ancient Rome. The Roman garum, a precious liquid sauce made from pressed anchovies nowadays used mainly with pasta.

It is worth visiting the enchanting small seaside village of Cetara to experience directly from the producers this treat which is unique to the ancient traditions of Campania.
